We’ve talked before about how the pro-abortion mindset is really one of disgusting, selfish utilitarianism. As we read from a New York woman who killed two of the three triplets she was carrying so she wouldn’t have to move to Long Island and shop at Costco, abortion supporters would rather kill kids then have to accept the "burden" (in better times it was called responsibility) of raising them. Here is another example, from Todd Eastham, North American news editor at Reuters. In an email to a pro-life activist, he wrote

“What’s your plan for parenting and educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Who will pay for policing our streets and maintaining the prisons needed to contain them when you, their parents and the system fail them? Oh, sorry. All that money has been earmarked to pay off the Bush deficit. Give me a frigging break, will you?”

Put another way, these babies are going to burden me, so let’s kill them before they do. Nice.

Don’t let all the rhetoric about the "debate" over when life begins and a woman’s "right to control her own body" fool you. This is about evil selfishness, pure and simple. Everyone knows that a baby gets killed in the abortion procedure. Some people just don’t care.
