It’s Easter weekend of an election year, so as we prepare to celebrate the most important day (so far) in the history of the universe, let’s try to gain some perspective.
These days everything is politics and the politics is getting dirtier and more passionate. As an indication, the LA Times noted today that the bestseller list is filled with vitriolic tomes from both sides fo the political spectrum. To listen to these authors, this election is a battle between good and evil and the future of the world is at stake.
Not to say that politics isn’t important, but lets remember that the real battle between good and evil is taking place at a level far beyond the Republican and Democratic parties. The principalities and powers of this dark world had a strong foothold for awhile but One Man on a cross changed all that. Thank God.
