The politically correct term to describe America’s opponents in the current war is “enemies of freedom.” But lets cut to the chase: this is a war against a particular brand of Islam. And rightly so.
When a group of people attack you because they believe they were told to by the one true god, creator and ruler of the universe, there are only two possible responses. Either you agree with their metaphysical assessment of the world or you don’t. If you think their theology is correct, the right thing to do is either surrender to death or join them in their crusade. To do anything else is to label them incorrect. America made the right choice.
The bottom line is that the terrorists are to be resisted because their religion is false. We fight against them because the god they believe in does not exist.
