Here’s one of today’s headlines in the LA Times: “1 of 3 in California Favor Gay Marriage.”
Maybe its just me, but wouldn’t the more natural story title be “66 percent of Californians Oppose Gay Marriage.” The leaning of the Times is apparent in the sub-heading: “The state is more open to the idea than the nation as a whole, less likely to see issue in moral terms.”
I suppose they paid for the poll and have the right to spin it however they want, but please, trying to create the impression that a pro gay marriage tidal wave is sweeping the state with these kind of numbers is a bit much.
